Privacy & data
A short explanation of how information is used inside the Couples Retreat app, alongside House on the Rock London's official Data Protection and Privacy Policy.
About this retreat app
The Couples Retreat app is operated by House on the Rock London for the New Wine Couples Ministry's 2026 retreat. We use the information needed to manage retreat attendance and secure access, provide personalised retreat features, allow attendees to save private or couple-shared reflections, receive support requests and collect retreat feedback.
Some information you choose to provide may be sensitive. Private reflections are intended to remain visible only to the person who wrote them. Content shared with a spouse becomes visible within that couple's retreat space. Support requests are limited to authorised ministry team members according to the access settings shown in the app.
The app also uses necessary authentication, session and local device storage so features such as secure sign-in, offline drafts and packing-list state can work correctly. If you choose to enable push notifications, the app stores a device/browser push-subscription identifier and notification preferences so the retreat team can send the categories of alert you have enabled. Push subscriptions can be disabled from the app or your device settings.
House on the Rock privacy policy
House on the Rock London's official Data Protection and Privacy Policy is the governing church policy for personal data. It explains the church's data-protection principles, internal and third-party processing, retention, subject access, security and cookie practices.
